Thank you for supporting my small business Eccentrics Boutique

When I was a little girl, I always loved playing dress-up! Luckily I had a sister who loved to get all dolled up too. Fashion was a passion that just kept growing…and so did an interest in entrepreneurship. After studying fashion merchandising and interning at an upscale retail company, I knew I wanted to open my own boutique in my small town. And I did just that! Taking my childhood dream and making it a reality has been an incredible journey. Thirty-plus years later, I feel like I’m still a little girl playing dress-up with my sister, only now I get to help women find that new dress or accessory that brings out their most confident selves. Every day, I get to meet new women who become new friends as they discover flattering styles for themselves or clever gifts for their friends. I’m in the business of confidence and happiness. (Have you ever seen a woman sad after buying new shoes?? I sure haven’t!!)

As a small business owner, I’m still that little girl inside dreaming big with a giant imagination. I’m chasing my dreams and fighting for what I believe in. I sweat every small detail while breaking my back for the big picture. Small business owners work weekends, holidays, and way after the doors are locked. Although family is #1, there are times when the business pushes us to our limits. Even still, we have so much FUN at Eccentrics Boutique. We get to throw parties and celebrate the women who support us every single day. I’m not telling you all of this for a pat on the back; I do this because this is who I am. It’s my passion and I love it. I simply adore my community, loyal customers and incredible staff. I cannot imagine doing anything else anywhere else!

So thank you for remembering my small business when you start your holiday shopping this weekend. You’re not only supporting Eccentrics, you’re supporting your community. Thank you for making my dreams come true. I couldn’t do this without you!
XOXO,
Lauren Craig
