How does your job influence your personal style?
Eccentrics Boutique is a very versatile store. There is something for everyone. Seriously… everyone. Therefore, my personal style is, honestly, not having one. 

 What is your personal style?
Again, my personal style is simply not having one. I don’t stick to one style. I have been told many times that no one really knows what my style is. It changes like the seasons, y’all. Try all the trends and wear all the clothes. 

Go-to fashion rule or styling trick? 
I am the layering queen. I take any graphic tee or blouse and just throw on a blazer, kimono, denim jacket, cardigan or anything over it and it makes it a completely different look. 

Favorite part about your job?
Oh my goodness this is a hard question. I think my absolute favorite part is the amount of creative freedom we are given. I enjoy being creative and it means so much to me that I get to execute that in my workplace. 

Most challenging part of your job?
The most challenging part is hearing our BEAUTIFUL customers talk down on themselves. It truly stinks when they look amazing in something and they don’t believe you. I wish everyone could see themselves from our point of view – flawless.

One thing in your closet you could not live without?
My plain white tee. That is a closet staple that every girl needs. So many ways to style it. Dress it up or dress it down – you need a white tee in your life. 

What is your life motto? How does your motto affect your style?
I have so many… but here is one I say to myself almost every single day. “Seek respect. Not attention. It lasts longer.” – this is a short one that has so many meanings. It affects my outfit choices every morning. I open my closet looking for cute and trendy outfits that are also modest. Modesty is important to me when establishing my personal style.   

Do you have a beauty secret you wish to share?
I don’t wear makeup. I absolutely hate spending time putting on and taking off makeup. For some people it’s a way to express themselves, but for me, it’s a nuisance. I have naturally small eyes, so to brighten those up with my bare face, I have eyelash extensions. Totally worth the price, y’all! I love mine. Not putting makeup on with the eyelashes also helps them last longer than if you were to put mascara on them!  

What is one thing no one would believe to be true about you? 
I am actually a huge introvert. My laptop is my BFF. I enjoy sitting down, working on my blog, drinking coffee and maybe watching an episode or twelve of Gossip Girl.
