From Vegas Market to Ledger's First Day of Kindergarten

Less than 24 hours ago, I was in Vegas buying new fall arrivals for the store and now I’m home capturing Ledger's first day of kindergarten.

Life as a boss mom can be chaotic and unpredictable. But nothing near as crazy as trying to make it from Vegas to Carterville, Illinois in time to walk my son into his kindergarten classroom. I feel like this was some new Olympic game that I had to complete in record time. With just a few days to buy for the new season, my mom and I basically lived on caffeine and dry shampoo. But we survived. Worn out feet and all. 

But I'll tell you, it was worth it to take the red-eye flight back in time to experience his first day. With two more little ones, I have a feeling there will be more trips like this ahead of me.
