How did you meet?
Lane and I had a class together spring semester of our freshman year. He asked me for homework help, and then he proceeded to ask me out on a date!
What was your first impression of Lane?
My first impression of Lane was great! On our first date, I noticed his "Southern charm." He held the door for me and was very polite.
How did you start dating?
We went on a trip to Red River, New Mexico, and he asked me to be his girlfriend while we were there!
What do you adore most about him?
I adore Lane's faith in God, his confidence, and his kindness.
Does he have any quirks that you a little crazy that only you could love?
One quirk of Lane's is that he has an obsession with the outdoor channel on T.V. I can always count on watching hunting at his apartment! This is something that admittedly drives me a little crazy, but I love him anyways. :)
Name one memorable experiences you’ve been through together as a couple.
A memorable experience that comes to mind is when we borrowed my grandparents’ kayaks for the day and went kayaking!
How would you describe the dynamic of your relationship? How would others describe it?
I would describe our relationship as playful. Lane makes me laugh, and that's what I love most about him. He never gets mad and is always up for an adventure! I'm not sure how others consider our relationship dynamic, but I hope they see that we are best friends!
What is a typical date night like?
Our typical date night involves going to dinner and a movie.
Who is the most romantic?
I think I am the romantic one. I'm a sucker for love and romance, and he begrudgingly will go along with my cheesy plans. He's a trooper for putting up with the "hopeless romantic" that I am!
